After some careless play in the Amfithea Hotspur defense, Fabian Ciociu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Babbis Theocharis. The Amfithea Hotspur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Babbis Theocharis should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mădălin Barbonța sped through Amfithea Hotspur's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Babbis Theocharis. Costin Ignătoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Kostopoulos in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Amfithea Hotspur defense, Fabian Ciociu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Babbis Theocharis. The Amfithea Hotspur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Babbis Theocharis should have stopped the shot. When Fabian Ciociu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the AFC PunisherS™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Ciociu couldn't finish the play. Isac Frunză blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Babbis Theocharis having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Barbonța in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Babbis Theocharis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Amfithea Hotspur's Alekos Kassanos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kostas Kostopoulos to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Isac Frunză who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amfithea Hotspur's Babbis Theocharis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Babbis Theocharis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Frunză in the 56th minute of the match. AFC PunisherS™'s Costin Ignătoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Chatzidis in the 58th minute of play. In the last second Babbis Theocharis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sever Ţurcaş in the 63rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. AFC PunisherS™'s Costin Ignătoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Chatzidis in the 65th minute of play. Babbis Theocharis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Frunză in the 67th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Amfithea Hotspur got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Giannou. Mădălin Barbonța received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Babbis Theocharis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mădălin Barbonța in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Babbis Theocharis saved Amfithea Hotspur from getting behind. Sever Ţurcaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Babbis Theocharis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
