An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Kree in the 10th minute of play forced Amfithea Hotspur's goalkeeper Valerios Paboulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Konstantinos Psiloglou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amfithea Hotspur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Valassakos came free, but Lakis Kissas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marinos Nebegleras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marinos Nebegleras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gert Varusk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Valerios Paboulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Charilaos Dimitrakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lakis Kissas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Marinos Valassakos could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Lakis Kissas however easily saved by the left post. Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Nebegleras in the 96th minute of play. If Charilaos Dimitrakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
