Lakis Kissas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Kosmas Kassianidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Lakis Kissas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ from getting a goal against them. After 21 played minutes San Siro got a freekick which was hit by Stelios Goundoulakis. After 22 played minutes, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Zacharias Kapellos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nektarios Roumeliotis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ reached it. Nektarios Roumeliotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacharias Kapellos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marinos Nebegleras during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marinos Nebegleras kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Giorgos Lagos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nektarios Roumeliotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinos Nebegleras in the 34th minute of play. When Giorgos Lagos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lakis Kissas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Babbis Tsochos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Siro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Tsochos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41stth minute of the game Giorgos Lagos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Lakis Kissas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lakis Kissas was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Kosmas Kassianidis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kosmas Kassianidis really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. With a little luck, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Lakis Kissas got control of the ball when Kosmas Kassianidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giorgos Lagos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62ndth minute of the game Stavros Voutsas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Lakis Kissas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lakis Kissas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Lagos in the 64th minute of the match. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Lakis Kissas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stavros Voutsas in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Marinos Nebegleras got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Giorgos Lagos managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Siro's supporters rose to their feet, but Giorgos Lagos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lakis Kissas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lakis Kissas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Lagos in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert Varusk got free with Nektarios Roumeliotis in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lakis Kissas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Lagos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when San Siro's Stavros Voutsas fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Anthimos Balopoulos's late challenge caught a San Siro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthimos Balopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Anthimos Balopoulos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Lakis Kissas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giorgos Lagos's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Lakis Kissas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kosmas Kassianidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Nektarios Roumeliotis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Marinos Nebegleras, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 91 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nektarios Roumeliotis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. San Siro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
