Americo Olivar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaw Fafinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Berenguer Tolosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianluca Scamacca in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berenguer Tolosa saved FCSB CUENCA from getting behind. 31 minutes in the game, Gianluca Scamacca dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Marcio Carreiras short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Gustaw Fafinski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Slawomir Wojciechowski hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Carlos Pujol got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marcio Carreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Gustaw Fafinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Josué Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcio Carreira.

In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianluca Scamacca got free with Berenguer Tolosa in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 85 in the game by Gianluca Scamacca from a close distance when the talented Berenguer Tolosa managed to make a qualified save. FCSB CUENCA's players were relieved.
