Timoteo Galsino's late challenge caught a San Siro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timoteo Galsino helped the player get up and apologised. 17 minutes into the match, Kiaxi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Tsochos came free, but Rui Patrício reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stavros Voutsas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Rene Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nektarios Roumeliotis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamatis Nassiakos in the 34th minute of play forced Kiaxi FC's goalkeeper Rui Patrício to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Placido Gervaso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nektarios Roumeliotis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 36 minutes, Placido Gervaso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiaxi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Gervaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Kosmas Kassianidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Patrício saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Patrício showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Lagos in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Kiaxi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kosmas Kassianidis came free, but Rui Patrício reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nektarios Roumeliotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Sendoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Stavros Voutsas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Patrício read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kiaxi FC's Conrado Artaldo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Nikitas Brizolakos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. San Siro's Nektarios Roumeliotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Abastas in the 75th minute of play. Rui Patrício made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Giorgos Lagos sent off a good shot on target. Giorgos Lagos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Rui Patrício made a huge save. Cleto Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. San Siro's Kosmas Kassianidis got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Patrício stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kosmas Kassianidis's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Rui Patrício made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 91 minutes into the match, Kiaxi FC's goalkeeper Rui Patrício had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Lagos.
