Grzegorz Rasiak might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wawrzyniec Dzierwa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grzegorz Rasiak ran back to his position shaking his head. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Rasiak in the 21st minute. Kim Hänninen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Cwojdak in the 23rd minute of play. The Fragleses fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Fragleses's Grzegorz Rasiak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kim Hänninen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Serwach, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Cestarolli in the 38th minute of play forced Fragleses's goalkeeper Kim Hänninen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Fragleses got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Rasiak. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Patrick Cestarolli managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rogers Sosnowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Cestarolli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kim Hänninen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Cestarolli was the one to do the kick off. Patrick Cestarolli kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Cestarolli got free with Kim Hänninen in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, FC Rogers Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Rasiak came free, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, FC Rogers Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Gomolka came free, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Hänninen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to FC Rogers Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Zachariasz Poremba hit a great ball. Grzegorz Rasiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Rogers Sosnowiec walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
