Zdzislaw Witek hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Damazy Kensicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Maziarski in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Powiśle Warszawa's Gösta Ekgren got a free kick in the 27th minute. The long shot by Zdzislaw Witek in the 28th minute really tested Boguslaw Siwek's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henk Cardinaal. After 32 minutes of play, Soczewki Gliwice's Tomasz Sobania made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boguslaw Siwek was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Powiśle Warszawa's Lorenzo Rocendo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damazy Kensicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Lorenzo Rocendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kensicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomasz Sobania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Siwek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Powiśle Warszawa from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomasz Sobania to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Tomasz Sobania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Damazy Kensicki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
