Felipo Ramirez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Madera's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when SC Pfullendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Pastor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Albino Naranjo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salvador Incendio. Albino Naranjo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Incendio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Salvador Incendio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Coello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Marquez Tobias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. SC Pfullendorf's Albino Naranjo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Norberto Cristofor fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's protests and gave Norberto Cristofor a yellow card for diving instead. SC Pfullendorf's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
