An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Sousa in the 12th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Casimiro Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Sousa in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Paulo Romelio hit a great ball. Felipe Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonzo Wolfe kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Casimiro Erramun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casey Sousa's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Racing Miami Futbol Club got a corner. La Gallardeta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jose Carnes ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Jeffrey Chen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Alfonzo Wolfe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Ruben Dolfo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Gallardeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Felipe Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dillon Chapui having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Racing Miami Futbol Club's Mohammed Lloyd was substituted for Casey Sousa. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Kerry Lefler was substituted for Al Scott. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohammed Lloyd made a kick off. Dillon Chapui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Flores in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Mohammed Lloyd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Marcos Madeo hit a great ball. Felipe Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dillon Chapui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Flores in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dillon Chapui saved Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Madeo came free, but Dillon Chapui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Erramun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammed Lloyd, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Apolo Naelio hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Marcos Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Gallardeta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
