Iker Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ruben Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Casimiro Erramun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Eriberto Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Rolado in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Erramun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Iker Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Felipe Flores had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Transito. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Flores was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Iker Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Dolfo in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Leonides Pancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Gallardeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Pancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Transito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Flores to make the kick off. If Leonides Pancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Aresti hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. La Gallardeta's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 82nd minute of the game, when Ruben Dolfo after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Cachiyuyo EAS's goal. Ruben Dolfo was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Iker Transito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Dolfo in the 92nd minute. La Gallardeta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
