An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Lloyd in the 19th minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Iker Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Henry Joseph left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 33rd minute of the game Santos Metcalf made a throw-in which Stan Cobb played forward. 35 minutes into the game, Mohammed Lloyd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Iker Transito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Al Scott got a free kick in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Mohammed Lloyd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Transito was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. If Mohammed Lloyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Raymond in the 46th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dillon McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Racing Miami Futbol Club's Alfonzo Wolfe was substituted for Geoff Coronado. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Kerry Lefler was substituted for Al Scott. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casey Sousa to make the kick off. Casey Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Transito having to interfere. Justo Perico kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Raymond. When Santos Metcalf fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave Santos Metcalf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Santos Metcalf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Rolado hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When the match was over Racing Miami Futbol Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cachiyuyo EAS throughout the match.
