Feliberto Mouricio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Quiroga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Angel Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flor Petera in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Justino Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octavio Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Calisto in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Belasko. Octavio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Cugat in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Joel Cugat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Brion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Angel Quiroga made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Justino Franco made the kick off in the second half. Angel Quiroga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flor Petera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute of the match, Felix Efren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Octavio Lauaxeta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Calisto got free with Octavio Lauaxeta in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Neron struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Angel Quiroga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simbo FC. Simbo FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
