The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Mouricio in the 2nd minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Carolo Isidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Matei, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Elias Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Isidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edgard Abascal fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC FUSION's protests and gave Edgard Abascal a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Matei in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Isidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carolo Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Orlondon. Octavio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Lorien in the 22nd minute of the match. Julian Rameriz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Marco Lorien made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavio Lauaxeta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Lorien to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Maximiliano Batista got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Carolo Isidor got control of the ball when Elias Palos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Carolo Isidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Palos. Carolo Isidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Belasko in the 37th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Lorien to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Elias Palos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simbo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. AFC FUSION's Carolo Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Belasko in the 57th minute of play. Gregorio Orlondon's late challenge caught a Simbo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Orlondon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Gregorio Orlondon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simbo FC's Felipe Tipi was substituted for Julian Rameriz. After 62 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Batista. Carolo Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Palos in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Elias Palos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carolo Isidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Gregorio Orlondon got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Segundo Neron came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Simbo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Neron couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Elias Palos made a precise shot to the right of Carolo Isidor. AFC FUSION's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 76 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Palos came free, but Carolo Isidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Feliberto Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simbo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Mouricio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carolo Isidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Elias Palos notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of AFC FUSION's Carolo Isidor. Carolo Isidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Simbo FC's Feliberto Mouricio got a free kick in the 84th minute. Carolo Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Belasko in the 89th minute of play. AFC FUSION's Carolo Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Palos in the 91st minute of play. AFC FUSION's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
