To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Stan Cobb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romulo Phelipe to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Miami Futbol Club's zone, Romulo Phelipe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dillon McDonough came out of the goal and Romulo Phelipe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th match minute, Laurita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Laurita FC defense, Abe Hoyt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Hartz. The Laurita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Hartz should have stopped the shot. The referee showed Tomas Gregory the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 93 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Phelipe came free, but Dillon McDonough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurita FC's Dante Hartz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Laurita FC from getting a goal against them. The Racing Miami Futbol Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
