C.A.M.P were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Racing Miami Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco Kelemen took the corner. The corner ended in Marco Kelemen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough did a great save. Dillon McDonough stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Pereyra's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Teodoro Pereyra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dillon McDonough read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoff Coronado to maneuver through the defense. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Gimenez in the 10th minute of play. Alejandro Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abe Hoyt in the 14th minute of play. Dillon McDonough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Geoff Coronado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Miami Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.M.P the free kick. Geoff Coronado hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Teodoro Pereyra might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dillon McDonough. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Pereyra ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Racing Miami Futbol Club getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Santos Metcalf hit a great ball. When C.A.M.P's Siro Gimenez in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the match, C.A.M.P's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammed Lloyd came free, but Alejandro Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.M.P's Siro Gimenez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dillon McDonough. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Dillon McDonough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Gimenez in the 33rd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Santos Metcalf. 36 minutes into the game, Teodoro Pereyra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dillon McDonough was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Alfonzo Wolfe replaced Jose Carnes. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Reinaldo Baxter was substituted for Stan Cobb. Dillon McDonough came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.M.P's Siro Gimenez. But to his dismay, Siro Gimenez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when C.A.M.P was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A.M.P's Jimeno Astrada was substituted for Teodoro Pereyra. C.A.M.P's Pablo Meder was substituted for Victoriano Playo. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Jermaine Velasquez with Alfonzo Wolfe as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dillon McDonough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes, Gabriel Dalmau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.M.P and the Racing Miami Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. 72 minutes into the game, C.A.M.P's Siro Gimenez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dillon McDonough made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 76 minutes, Siro Gimenez made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Gimenez in the 79th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dillon McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dillon McDonough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Astrada in the 84th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dillon McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
