With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Kinsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Linus Fredriksson made a kick off. Arnulfo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Panpili in the 52nd minute of play. Laurita FC made a substitution. Mario Alberto Kempes replaced Šair Lupin. Marlin FC's Giovanni Rana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ezequiel Emesto, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempes in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Dionisio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Fredriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Arnulfo Kinsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 81st minute Mario Alberto Kempes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Laurita FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo-Hernán Díaz.
