Attilio Casciano started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes ★Independiente Ψ★'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thibault Moon who took care of the corner kick. Thibault Moon made a great header on Talleres de Escalada's corner, it was just that ★Independiente Ψ★'s Maximiliano Iigo managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Casciano in the 11th minute of play forced ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafin Bernal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 38 minutes ★Independiente Ψ★'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thibault Moon who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Talleres de Escalada's corner Jonas Tingelholm fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maximiliano Iigo quite easily take care of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57th minute Miran Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 63rd minute of play. Attilio Casciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Maximiliano Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Bernal saved Talleres de Escalada from getting behind. Maximiliano Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Tingelholm in the 70th minute of play. When ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Talleres de Escalada's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute, Jairo Hotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Lei Feng Ying was substituted for Gabriel-Omar Batista. Lei Feng Ying recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute of the match, Ezequiel Monico tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximiliano Iigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 97th minute, Ezequiel Monico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres de Escalada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
