Zacarias Osorio might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Perpiñán. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zacarias Osorio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute Aitor Branca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aitor Branca in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branislav Velchevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Perpiñán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Osorio in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Esteban Iztal got a free kick in the 27th minute. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aitor Branca in the 29th minute of play. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting a goal against them. Branislav Velchevski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aitor Branca went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Elpidio Francis scored 2-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Perpiñán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aitor Branca in the 47th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Dolar Blue Ψ's Arnulfo Chano was substituted for Aitor Branca. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. André Monclús replaced Elpidio Francis. Dolar Blue Ψ's Santiago Eriksen was substituted for Chu Xiang Li. A collision led to Dolar Blue Ψ getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Valdemar Holm hit a great ball. When Bonifacio Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans jumped to their feet. Branislav Velchevski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Arnulfo Chano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Dolar Blue Ψ's Javier Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Monclús in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner. Everardo Cordarell went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner Everardo Cordarell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Javier Perpiñán quite easily take care of the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Arnulfo Chano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julian Beturian took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Dolar Blue Ψ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
