Arnulfo Kinsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Javier Santo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Altos Gatos FC's Javier Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Kinsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Vargas in the 19th minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Christian Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Villalobos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Arnulfo Kinsen made a huge save. Javier Santo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Kinsen. Arnulfo Kinsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Christian Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Ofelio in the 31st minute of play. If Agustin Villalobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Santo in the 38th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Altos Gatos FC's Javier Santo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 57 minutes, Javier Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altos Gatos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute of the match, Šair Lupin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christian Kiliz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Javier Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnulfo Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Altos Gatos FC's Christian Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Ofelio in the 65th minute of play. Javier Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnulfo Kinsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Laurita FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Esa Garcha hit a great ball. Laurita FC's Mario Alberto Kempes was substituted for Šair Lupin. Arnulfo Kinsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When Carolo Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Altos Gatos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Abancens couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Laurita FC booed when Altos Gatos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Corderun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mario Alberto Kempes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Carolo Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Olle was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Altos Gatos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Laurita FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
