The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Billy Drake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Billy Drake to strike the kick off in the second half. Esteban Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Arnaldo Gabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Flavio Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Taaniel Hill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branislav Velchevski was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When the match was over Brown Puerto Madryn could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA throughout the match.
