After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Sebastian Abechuco got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some careless play in the KaoS Futbol Club defense, Fulgencio Gartzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierluigi Buffon. The KaoS Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierluigi Buffon should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute of the match, Fulgencio Gartzi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pierluigi Buffon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Lebas in the 12th minute of play. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gartzi came free, but Pierluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Fulgencio Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Gallardeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Noe, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute KaoS Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Narciso Noe went to the cornerflag to take it. After 26 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Scandella. After having played for 27 minutes, Narciso Noe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KaoS Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Noe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 30th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Fulgencio Gartzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enzo Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, KaoS Futbol Club's Lluis Companys made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belchior Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Narciso Noe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Belchior Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Igor Lebas made the kick off in the second half. Lluis Companys kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Fulgencio Gartzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierluigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. When Jan-Olof Eliasson fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Gallardeta's protests and gave Jan-Olof Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson got a free kick in the 60th minute. KaoS Futbol Club's Andres Baresi was substituted for León Ponzio. KaoS Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after La Gallardeta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Narciso Noe took the corner. In the 80th minute Narciso Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jan-Olof Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 84th minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute of the match La Gallardeta got a corner. KaoS Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessio Scandella ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of KaoS Futbol Club booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Scandella didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KaoS Futbol Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
