Branislav Velchevski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Kiliz having to interfere. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Everardo Cordarell hit a great ball. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's zone, Milosz Majczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal and Milosz Majczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Santo who took care of the corner kick. Javier Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Kiliz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Gabon went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, Javier Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Branislav Velchevski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Altos Gatos FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Francis made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Abancens in the 95th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Altos Gatos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA throughout the match.
