After a rather tough play, Simbo FC's Carlos Trinidad got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Romain Berrewouts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simbo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romain Berrewouts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Simbo FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Nestor Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belchior Saldanha was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Fulgencio Gartzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enzo Nuñez helped the player get up and apologised. Enzo Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulgencio Gartzi to make the kick off. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romain Berrewouts in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Boleslaw Sidorowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tincho Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Belchior Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simbo FC's Niceto Nafarroa was substituted for Boleslaw Sidorowicz. Mías Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 69th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Mías Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute Simbo FC were awarded a corner. Sabri Ravelli went to the cornerflag to take it. After 82 minutes of play, Simbo FC's Tincho Palermo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belchior Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Tincho Palermo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Belchior Saldanha. The goal made the score 2-2. Tincho Palermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Belchior Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simbo FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing La Gallardeta to leave the ground with a draw.
