Gabriel-Omar Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Belchior Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bragan McPhil made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fulgencio Gartzi however managed to control. Israel Manuelo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Maximiliano Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save ★Independiente Ψ★ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Eliasson got free with Maximiliano Iigo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Olof Eliasson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximiliano Iigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Olof Eliasson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Gabriel-Omar Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Belchior Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belchior Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 46th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Gartzi was the one to do the kick off. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belchior Saldanha saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. Alfonso Musso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enzo Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Maximiliano Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 81st minute of play. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Feng Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Feng Ying in the 87th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Jan-Olof Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Olof Eliasson took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximiliano Iigo. Maximiliano Iigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Jay-Jay Okocha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Belchior Saldanha. That made the score 2-2 in the 94 minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
