In the 10th minute Linus Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Aybek Orcun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Belchior Saldanha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Jan-Olof Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Alvarez saved Marlin FC from getting behind. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Linus Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Belchior Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlin FC. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Enzo Nuñez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 30th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Marlin FC's Belchior Saldanha threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Linus Fredriksson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Dionisio Panpili came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Marlin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Panpili couldn't finish the play. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes La Gallardeta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aybek Orcun who took care of the corner kick. When Linus Fredriksson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Marlin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Fredriksson couldn't finish the play. Aybek Orcun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Gartzi made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Aybek Orcun came free, but Belchior Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belchior Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aybek Orcun went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Fredriksson in the 58th minute of play. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 68 minutes La Gallardeta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aybek Orcun who took care of the corner kick. Fernando Ciano hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sädräddin Cavadov hit a great ball. Belchior Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Linus Fredriksson's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 90th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Rana kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Fulgencio Gartzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gartzi came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marlin FC had played much better football throughout.
