A wasted opportunity for ★Independiente Ψ★. 6 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel-Omar Batista came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Jairo Hotz got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 9 minutes of play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Carlos Alvarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Iigo saved ★Independiente Ψ★ from getting behind. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Panpili came free, but Maximiliano Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel-Omar Batista scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Carlos Alvarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giovanni Rana hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Gabriel-Omar Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Carlos Alvarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Maximiliano Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Rana, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, one of ★Independiente Ψ★:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ★Independiente Ψ★. Maximiliano Iigo had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Ismael Iglesias's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Marlin FC got a corner. ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ismael Iglesias ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Musso in the 54th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match ★Independiente Ψ★ got a corner. Marlin FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adan Aresti ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 65 minutes of play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 71st minute Gabriel-Omar Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 72nd minute of play. Maximiliano Iigo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Dionisio Panpili sent off a good shot on target. Maximiliano Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Ciano in the 87th minute of the match. Dionisio Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Iigo having to interfere. Juan Carlos Alvarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lei Feng Ying went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Marlin FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
