Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Navarro in the 5th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Prata came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Aaron Euloxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nina fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Higinio Sansone made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Arnaldo Gabon sent off a good shot on target. Bonifacio Suarez made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Elpidio Francis however managed to control. A sloppy throw-in by Rafael Dalmu in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nina fc's Aldo Navarro. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldo Navarro made a great header on Nina fc's corner, it was just that ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski managed to reach the ball for a save. After 24 minutes of play, Nina fc's Rubens Prata made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Branislav Velchevski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aldo Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branislav Velchevski having to interfere. Higinio Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Francis in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA defense, Rubens Prata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branislav Velchevski. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branislav Velchevski should have stopped the shot. After 42 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Suarez. In the 43rd minute, Rubens Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bonifacio Suarez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nina fc were winning 0-3.

Nina fc's Fulgencio Romildo was substituted for Aldo Navarro. The wind increased when Saul Macerio made the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Romildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús was substituted for Elpidio Francis. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Bonifacio Suarez got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 73rd match minute, Nina fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Azibar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Zacarias Osorio hit a great ball. Fulgencio Romildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. Fulgencio Romildo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 88th minute Rafael Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Sansone was left in no man's land by his defense there! ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's attentive Aristides Asteri managed to snatch the ball when Sergio Berti made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. If Aristides Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nina fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
