After a defensive mix-up in Nina fc's zone, Jan-Olof Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Sansone came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Eliasson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Prata in the 5th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Fulgencio Gartzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Gallardeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rubens Prata received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Belchior Saldanha came out and tried to block the shot, but Rubens Prata slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Prata in the 23rd minute of play. Nina fc's Higinio Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Nina fc's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gartzi came free, but Higinio Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Rubens Prata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Belchior Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Belchior Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubens Prata in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Jan-Olof Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Fulgencio Gartzi made the kick off in the second half. Nina fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Macerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belchior Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nina fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Gallardeta for a fine match.
