Mario Alberto Kempes started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Jan-Olof Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Kinsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 15th minute of play forced Laurita FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Kinsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A nice corner shot did that Gustavo-Hernán Díaz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Belchior Saldanha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 41st minute, La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Bernardino Ofelio struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Belchior Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laurita FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Gartzi was the one to do the kick off. Arnulfo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Laurita FC defense, Fulgencio Gartzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Kinsen. The Laurita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Kinsen should have stopped the shot. Laurita FC's Filip Ikalewicz was substituted for Esa Garcha. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümin Aygüneş in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Mümin Aygüneş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute Juan Gotzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Laurita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gartzi came free, but Arnulfo Kinsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Kinsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belchior Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Narciso Vargas sent off a good shot on target. Arnulfo Kinsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 80th minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Fulgencio Gartzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laurita FC's Arnulfo Kinsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnulfo Kinsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulgencio Gartzi went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 85th match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Anaya to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Šair Lupin came free, but Belchior Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Laurita FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Gallardeta.
