The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurențiu Pora got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Pora in the 25th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Cazimir Angelescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hayalim Kedoshim's Laurențiu Pora fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Lino Rios took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cazimir Angelescu. Cazimir Angelescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lino Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cazimir Angelescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. Cazimir Angelescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Lino Rios made the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Maidana hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match.
