Conalep 197's Lino Birjaio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cesar Gustau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moises Matia scored 1-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 43rd minute of play forced Conalep 197's goalkeeper Tenis Penisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Conalep 197 reached it. In the 78th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaan Noga kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Fidel Urbes came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Conalep 197 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Urbes couldn't finish the play. Fidel Urbes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Albino Eladio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Conalep 197 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. The Conalep 197 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
