Frogner's Ulf Gadd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Frogner from getting a goal against them. Umut İnceman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Bengtsson in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Fikri Sakman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulf Gadd. The goal made the score 1-0. Sven-Ove Danielsson's late challenge caught a ÇORUM FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Ove Danielsson helped the player get up and apologised. Sven-Ove Danielsson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Hulki Temizsoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÇORUM FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frogner the free kick. 16 minutes into the game, one of ÇORUM FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. ÇORUM FK's Feyzullay Şahbazoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Umut İnceman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fikri Sakman got free with Ulf Gadd in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mustafa Cumhur Altun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulf Gadd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Fikri Sakmans short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Ulf Gadd to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fikri Sakman to make the kick off. Ulf Gadd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Cumhur Altun in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute Fikri Sakman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Gadd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Frogner's goal looked a bit too open when Fikri Sakman came free, but Ulf Gadd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Gadd came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by ÇORUM FK's Fikri Sakman. But to his dismay, Fikri Sakman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 64 minutes into the game, Mümtaz Onultan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÇORUM FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frogner the free kick. Umut İnceman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Tholsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Gadd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fikri Sakman in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Fikri Sakman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Gadd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When ÇORUM FK's Fikri Sakman in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frogner's goalie prevented a goal. Fikri Sakman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zafer Benlioğlu during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Frogner booed when ÇORUM FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zafer Benlioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fikri Sakman in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Gadd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ÇORUM FK had won after a very even match.
