Cazimir Curteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Olof Bengtsson in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Simared -MM-'s Alex Purcaru got a free kick in the 12th minute. Douglas Källberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Săvulescu in the 14th minute. Matei Humă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Olof Bengtsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cazimir Curteanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Olof Bengtsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Åhus Absolut F.C's zone, Augustin Săvulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Källberg came out of the goal and Augustin Săvulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Săvulescu in the 26th minute of the match. Johnny Broman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cazimir Curteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Åhus Absolut F.C booed when Simared -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Bâlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Åhus Absolut F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Simared -MM-:s goal. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Hannes Fernkvist got a free kick in the 47th minute. Simared -MM- made a substitution. Manole Izvoranu replaced Augustin Săvulescu. A collision led to Åhus Absolut F.C getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Hannes Fernkvist hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Per-Olof Bengtsson made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Vase. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Olof Bengtsson got free with Cazimir Curteanu in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per-Olof Bengtsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Cazimir Curteanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Douglas Källberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiberiu Huștea's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Fernkvist in the 61st minute of play forced Simared -MM-'s goalkeeper Cazimir Curteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åhus Absolut F.C's Douglas Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Izvoranu in the 62nd minute of play. Tiberiu Huștea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åhus Absolut F.C's Douglas Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Huștea in the 74th minute of play. Cazimir Curteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Broman in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Rune Helström got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s Olimpiu Breazu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Källberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiberiu Huștea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Källberg having to interfere. Simared -MM-'s Tiberiu Huștea got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Simared -MM- had played much better football throughout.
