In the 12th match minute, Dhafnospiliá BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themis Karagiorgis to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Thomas Chatzichristos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC Bad Company's Achilleas Diamantidis got control of the ball when Thomas Chatzichristos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Bad Company booed when Dhafnospiliá BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Psarras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christos Konstantakis's late challenge caught a Dhafnospiliá BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 21 played minutes FC Bad Company got a freekick which was hit by Christos Konstantakis. 25 minutes into the game, Panos Evaggellou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nikos Kaminaridis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Karameros in the 28th minute of play forced Dhafnospiliá BC's goalkeeper Nikos Kaminaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Kostas Karameros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Kaminaridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match, Thomas Chatzichristos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Achilleas Diamantidis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the FC Bad Company defense, Giorgos Mikros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Achilleas Diamantidis. The FC Bad Company fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Achilleas Diamantidis should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kostas Karameros to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dhafnospiliá BC's Taam Taaensen got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Panos Evaggellou sped through Dhafnospiliá BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikos Kaminaridis. Nikos Kaminaridis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kostas Karameros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 59 minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Bad Company's Valentinos Kousounadis got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, one of Dhafnospiliá BC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for FC Bad Company. Christoforos Zavantias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nikos Kaminaridis. 2-4. 75 minutes into the match, Giorgos Mikros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Achilleas Diamantidis. FC Bad Company's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giorgos Mikros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Achilleas Diamantidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Botitsis in the 80th minute of the match. Giorgos Mikros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Achilleas Diamantidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play, FC Bad Company's Panos Evaggellou made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Kaminaridis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's Thomas Chatzichristos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Achilleas Diamantidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alketas Mardakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of FC Bad Company echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Dhafnospiliá BC had held the ball for most of the match.
