Duarte Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Curteanu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Magheru in the 18th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Joel Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Nicodim Codrea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joel Rossi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Duarte Costa's late challenge caught a Simared -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Duarte Costa hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes, Simared -MM-'s Silviu Miron shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Rossi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Simared -MM- reached it. In the 23rd match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Huștea to maneuver through the defense. Cazimir Curteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicodim Codrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Rossi having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Tiberiu Huștea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simared -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiberiu Huștea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Codrea to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugurel Magheru got free with Joel Rossi in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Tiberiu Huștea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simared -MM-'s Cazimir Curteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Marinho in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Joel Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Huștea. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Roger Carneiro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Dumitru Miron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Rossi. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mugurel Magheru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Joel Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Duarte Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cazimir Curteanu. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. When Duarte Costa came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Costa couldn't finish the play. Simared -MM-'s Ernest Enoaia was substituted for Mugurel Magheru. Simared -MM-'s Matei Humă was substituted for Silviu Miron. After 70 minutes, Duarte Costa made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Simared -MM-'s Cazimir Curteanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Simared -MM-'s Ernest Enoaia got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Enoaia in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Codrea in the 80th minute of the match. Cazimir Curteanu made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ivo Cunha sent off a good shot on target.
