When Fikri Sakman came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the ÇORUM FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikri Sakman couldn't finish the play. Umut İnceman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktoras Kleftokotakis in the 31st minute. Umut İnceman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stathis Baloukos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goal looked a bit too open when Fikri Sakman came free, but Periklis Theofilou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Fikri Sakman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Periklis Theofilou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Stathis Baloukos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Αστέρας Δερβενίου's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ÇORUM FK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Stathis Baloukos got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fikri Sakman in the 45th minute of play forced Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goalkeeper Periklis Theofilou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulmelik Helvacıoğlu's late challenge caught a Αστέρας Δερβενίου's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulmelik Helvacıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Stathis Baloukos struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Umut İnceman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Αστέρας Δερβενίου.

After having played for 58 minutes, Fikri Sakman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÇORUM FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fikri Sakman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Periklis Theofilou came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ÇORUM FK's Fikri Sakman. But to his dismay, Fikri Sakman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 65th minute, Zafer Benlioğlu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Periklis Theofilou got control of the ball when Semi Afak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goalkeeper Periklis Theofilou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zafer Benlioğlu. Fikri Sakman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Periklis Theofilou made a huge save. Mustafa Cumhur Altun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goalkeeper Periklis Theofilou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zafer Benlioğlu. Periklis Theofilou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fikri Sakman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fikri Sakman in the 85th minute of play forced Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goalkeeper Periklis Theofilou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Viktoras Kleftokotakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the final whistle sounded ÇORUM FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Αστέρας Δερβενίου.
