Dhafnospiliá BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koulis Rapanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Stathis Baloukos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Kaminaridis having to interfere. Savas Lazaris hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Giannis Botitsis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Periklis Theofilou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ntinos Pantelakis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Giorgos Mikros came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Dhafnospiliá BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Mikros couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Christos Petridis got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Dhafnospiliá BC's Andreas Psarras got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The supporters of Dhafnospiliá BC booed when Αστέρας Δερβενίου was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spyros Boulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Andreas Psarras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dhafnospiliá BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Psarras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dhafnospiliá BC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
