Frogner's Erik Larsfält got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute Kenny Dahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferman Baray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frogner's Ulf Gadd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Frogner from getting a goal against them. İdris Adanır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Sandberg couldn't finish the play. If Leonard Wallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenny Dahlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JOKER's Ferman Baray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Dahlman in the 90th minute of play. Sancar Nedret kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to JOKER getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Yağız Doğay hit a great ball. Ferman Baray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Dahlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Frogner's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
