Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Patay Juniors from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Telakis in the 12th minute of play forced Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petros Kalivrousis in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Patay Juniors getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Florentino Egoi hit a great ball. Owen Colbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Cayetano Francho made a huge save. Petros Kalivrousis took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Francho. Cayetano Francho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Petri came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petros Kalivrousis got free with Cayetano Francho in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Prospero Petri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho got control of the ball when Petros Kalivrousis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Ledesma came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dhafnospiliá BC were furious when Owen Colbert was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dhafnospiliá BC! The referee gave Patay Juniors a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Prospero Petri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas. 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panos Telakis to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Prospero Petri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nikos Tournas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 54th minute Ceferino Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Petri took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikos Tournas. Nikos Tournas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Thanks to some nice moves Edgard Ledesma could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Nikos Tournas however easily saved by the left post. When Edgard Ledesma came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Patay Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Ledesma couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Florentino Egoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patay Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dhafnospiliá BC the free kick. Florentino Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Dhafnospiliá BC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Patay Juniors's performance. The match ended with a win for Patay Juniors.
