Owen Colbert kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Cristo Verdu scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikos Tournas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Jurand Cempa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas. Nikos Tournas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Zárate in the 13th minute of play. Miroslaw Gollob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Guijarro in the 14th minute of play. Nikos Tournas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Cempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Panos Telakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Gaston Zárate notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas. Nikos Tournas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Zárate to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristo Verdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Theocharis Agapidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Gollob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miroslaw Gollob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theocharis Agapidis in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dhafnospiliá BC's zone, Damaso Alonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Tournas came out of the goal and Damaso Alonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacisze Częstochowa made a substitution. Akif Yetik replaced Maksymilian Drapinski. Zacisze Częstochowa's Przemyslaw Maldini was substituted for Gonzalo Firme. In the 71st minute, Margiris Nekrošius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Jurand Cempa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Tournas. Dhafnospiliá BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurand Cempa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Miroslaw Gollob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Telakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Jurand Cempa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Nikos Tournas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Gaston Zárate reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nikos Tournas. The goal made the score 0-6. Gaston Zárate hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, Zacisze Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Zárate to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Cempa came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Jurand Cempa took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Nikos Tournas to make any attempt to save it. If Jurand Cempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacisze Częstochowa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
