Nikos Tournas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencer Uluöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fodil Otman got free with Nikos Tournas in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikos Tournas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo Adler in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petros Kalivrousis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Telakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zisis Tavlaridis during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zisis Tavlaridis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Dhafnospiliá BC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ntinos Paboulis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fodil Otman in the 54th minute of play forced Dhafnospiliá BC's goalkeeper Nikos Tournas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keijo Kungla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jo Adler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Guijarro in the 67th minute of play forced Trabzon's goalkeeper Mustafa Hamit Kutlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Dhafnospiliá BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simos Nestoriadis to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Gencer Uluöz. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Petros Kalivrousis sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th match minute, Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Adler to maneuver through the defense. Trabzon's Zaid Sağanalp quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zisis Tavlaridis, made in the 81st minute of the game. After 88 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Jo Adler. Gencer Uluöz scored 4-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikos Tournas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Trabzon's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
