Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aila Van in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Spas Spitzmüller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikos Tournas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, A.C Barak's Aila Van nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikos Tournas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theocharis Agapidis in the 29th minute of play forced A.C Barak's goalkeeper Uğuralp Vasfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Dhafnospiliá BC got a freekick which was hit by Benne Bruynincx. 44 minutes into the match, Panos Telakis notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of A.C Barak's Uğuralp Vasfi. Uğuralp Vasfi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

After 64 played minutes Dhafnospiliá BC got a freekick which was hit by Petros Kalivrousis. Benne Bruynincx hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nikos Tournas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spas Spitzmüller in the 69th minute of the match. Maura Icardi's late challenge caught a Dhafnospiliá BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maura Icardi helped the player get up and apologised. Maura Icardi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's Owen Colbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uğuralp Vasfi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Dhafnospiliá BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simos Nestoriadis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dhafnospiliá BC's zone, Aila Van stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Tournas came out of the goal and Aila Van tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uğuralp Vasfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Kalivrousis in the 78th minute of play. During the 90th minute of the match Maura Icardi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Maura Icardi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 91st match minute, A.C Barak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maura Icardi to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the A.C Barak defense, Petros Kalivrousis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uğuralp Vasfi. The A.C Barak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uğuralp Vasfi should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded A.C Barak left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dhafnospiliá BC.
