The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nikos Tournas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Lekberg came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Kim Lekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dhafnospiliá BC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomáš Lamačka was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atletico Los Andes's players had a chance to rest. 43 minutes into the game, Kim Lekberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nikos Tournas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Dhafnospiliá BC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atletico Los Andes were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petros Kalivrousis made a kick off. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Mariusz Poreda with Owen Colbert as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kim Lekberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Nikos Tournas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nikos Tournas came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Los Andes's Kim Lekberg. But to his dismay, Kim Lekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Kim Lekberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kim Lekberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Nikos Tournas made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Dhafnospiliá BC's zone, Kim Lekberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Tournas came out of the goal and Kim Lekberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atletico Los Andes's Steven Garner-Currie was substituted for Moises Faron. 76 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Los Andes's Kaj Skager nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikos Tournas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 80th minute, Kaj Skager reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nikos Tournas. The goal made the score 0-7. 88 minutes into the match, Kaj Skager dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nikos Tournas, 0-9. Nikos Tournas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaj Skager in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaj Skager kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nikos Tournas. That made the score 0-10 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atletico Los Andes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
