Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Trabzon's Mustafa Hamit Kutlu got control of the ball when Leo Chesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trabzon's Mustafa Hamit Kutlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Astigar in the 28th minute of play. Cayetano Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Adler, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The Trabzon fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Trabzon's Fodil Otman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 51stth minute of the game Ceferino Monte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trabzon's Mustafa Hamit Kutlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ceferino Monte sped through Trabzon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mustafa Hamit Kutlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Petri in the 56th minute of play forced Trabzon's goalkeeper Mustafa Hamit Kutlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
