In the 3rd match minute, WZG Sandomierz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafal Niemoj to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Duxbury in the 4th minute of play forced WZG Sandomierz's goalkeeper Alfred Dziatkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gary Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink made a precise shot to the right of Gary Ingram. Korona Kielce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Korona Kielce's zone, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gary Ingram came out of the goal and Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, WZG Sandomierz's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Duxbury came free, but Alfred Dziatkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gary Ingram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink in the 14th minute of play. When WZG Sandomierz's Widodo 曹操 in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Korona Kielce's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gary Ingram, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Korona Kielce's Gary Ingram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WZG Sandomierz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 31 minutes into the game, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Gary Ingram was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, WZG Sandomierz's Kala Mala got a free kick in the 35th minute. Alfred Dziatkowski made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Jacek Kielb sent off a good shot on target. Stephen Duxbury kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Gary Ingram, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gary Ingram. Gary Ingram dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. WZG Sandomierz's Alfred Dziatkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Duxbury in the 45th minute of play. After the first half WZG Sandomierz were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darren Boyle was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Hugon Czciborek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WZG Sandomierz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Korona Kielce the free kick. A collision led to WZG Sandomierz getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hugon Czciborek hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Jacek Kielb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Dziatkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. After a rather tough play, WZG Sandomierz's Rafal Niemoj got a free kick in the 58th minute. Alfred Dziatkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Boyle in the 60th minute of play. Gary Ingram made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Widodo 曹操 sent off a good shot on target. WZG Sandomierz's attentive Damazy Puch managed to snatch the ball when Nial Todd made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gary Ingram. Korona Kielce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. WZG Sandomierz's Alfred Dziatkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Kielb in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Widodo 曹操 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gary Ingram was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Gary Ingram was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hugon Czciborek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 84 minute of play. The supporters of Korona Kielce booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Czciborek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Dziatkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Kielb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Korona Kielce supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching WZG Sandomierz's performance. The match ended with a win for WZG Sandomierz.
