Kryspin Wyrostek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeusz Pionek in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kryspin Wyrostek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Tadeusz Pionek put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek. Tadeusz Pionek scored 1-6 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tadeusz Pionek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Antoni Cupial could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Boguslaw Jucha however easily saved by the left post. Edward Lampa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Newcastle United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Powiśle Warszawa were winning 1-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeusz Pionek made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Edward Lampa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Jucha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boguslaw Jucha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Sokolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65thth minute of the game Wlodzimierz Sokolski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Jucha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Piotr Majewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Wyrostek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abay Uygun in the 72nd minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Kryspin Wyrostek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Kryspin Wyrostek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Radomir Lato struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Kryspin Wyrostek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Powiśle Warszawa. Kryspin Wyrostek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Siembab, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Radomir Lato dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kryspin Wyrostek, 1-7. Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abay Uygun in the 94th minute of play. Antoni Borucki hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Powiśle Warszawa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
