The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Cubilla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Kryspin Wyrostek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Luís Cubilla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 17th minute Remigiusz Bronkala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güntekin Adılhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güntekin Adılhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wlodzimierz Sokolski's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 23 minutes into the match, ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Luís Cubilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kryspin Wyrostek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 played minutes ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ got a freekick which was hit by Robert Budrewicz. Luís Cubilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kryspin Wyrostek having to make a save. Kryspin Wyrostek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Cubilla in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Luís Cubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Cubilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Cubilla was the one to do the kick off. Buğra Zoral charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Buğra Zoral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Antoni Cupial could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Güntekin Adılhan however easily saved by the left post. In the 71st minute, Aras Görkem Akgüngör hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ünsal Tezcan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Newcastle United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wlodzimierz Sokolski in the 76th minute. The supporters of ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Lampa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Cupial received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Güntekin Adılhan came out and tried to block the shot, but Antoni Cupial slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Sokolski came free, but Güntekin Adılhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Filip Orling got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Luís Cubilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Cubilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1.
