Roy Abrahamsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Gary Ingram made a huge save. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Korona Kielce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaz Parkinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Korona Kielce defense, Jarl Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gary Ingram. The Korona Kielce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gary Ingram should have stopped the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börje Åkesson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Åkesson came free, but Gary Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gary Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute.
