The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wei Jun during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksander Oryl to make the kick off. The coaching staff of WZG Sandomierz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wei Jun had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. WZG Sandomierz's Viggo Vassenius was substituted for Hugon Czciborek. A collision led to ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Filip Kosowski hit a great ball. After 91st play minutes Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Zygmunt Dziechciowski and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 97th minute Maximus Speed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Dziatkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The WZG Sandomierz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing WZG Sandomierz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
