Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeusz Pionek in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kryspin Wyrostek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Powiśle Warszawa's Tadeusz Pionek got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kryspin Wyrostek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Pionek in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newcastle United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tadeusz Siembab was slow to take the kick. During this time Powiśle Warszawa's players had a chance to rest. Jakub Ferfecki kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Kryspin Wyrostek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Pionek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes Newcastle United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tadeusz Siembab who took care of the corner kick. Powiśle Warszawa's Tadeusz Siembab was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kryspin Wyrostek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek got control of the ball when Tadeusz Pionek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antoni Cupial sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeusz Pionek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kryspin Wyrostek having to make a save. Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United from getting a goal against them. Mikolaj Winszman hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeusz Pionek in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kryspin Wyrostek saved Newcastle United from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Powiśle Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Maciek Majewski. A collision led to Powiśle Warszawa getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Maciek Majewski hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Pionek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeusz Pionek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 40 minutes in the game Mikolaj Winszman did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edward Lampa. Mikolaj Winszman was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Mikolaj Winszman hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Tadeusz Pionek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Powiśle Warszawa's Abay Uygun was substituted for Maciek Majewski. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeusz Pionek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Abay Uygun notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek. Kryspin Wyrostek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute, Radomir Lato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kryspin Wyrostek was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Wlodzimierz Sokolski struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Boguslaw Jucha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Jucha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Sokolski in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Ryan Giggs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Kryspin Wyrostek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Pionek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeusz Pionek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Wlodzimierz Sokolski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Majewski in the 72nd minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Kryspin Wyrostek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kryspin Wyrostek came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Powiśle Warszawa's Piotr Majewski. But to his dismay, Piotr Majewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 83rd minute of the match Jakub Ferfecki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kryspin Wyrostek skillfully saved the ball. After 92 minutes, Wlodzimierz Sokolski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United and the Powiśle Warszawa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Sokolski. Wlodzimierz Sokolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Jucha having to interfere. After 97 minutes, Piotr Majewski made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Powiśle Warszawa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
